The Penguin logo originated in 1955 when a salesman for the company came across one of the stuffed birds at a taxidermist and eventually it became the brand’s mascot. The urban sportswear clothing became popular in the 80’s and was worn by the likes of Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and Richard Nixon.
