Men - Folk
Folk is quietly elegant clothing enriched by subtle details: style without drama.
At Folk, we are fastidious about details. Working with simple patterns our focus is on the quality, textures and characteristics of the fabrications and trims. We analyze everything, from the thread colour to the pocket lining to the crushed coconutshell buttons.
Our fashion exists in a larger context of modern, tactile product design; from the very beginning we looked at areas beyond clothing to the point that Folk is now a genuine, multidiscipline design studio with exquisite furniture, objects & artwork.
Since 2002 we have navigated the path between streetwear and the architect-designer aesthetic. We helped create a scene for well made casual clothing with a modern British spin. Our collections have since become more refined. The raring colour of early collections exists more as accents now. Our point of difference is in lush, exclusive fabrics, and details you may not appreciate until after you buy.
We enjoy meeting new makers, we constantly improve our workbox of techniques by collaborating with experts and developing new product categories. We progress with our minds and eyes wide open.
