Description
Chore jacket made in hickory stripe denim. The overall fit is generous, like every good worker's jacket should be. This one features big, beautifully shaped patch-on pockets and a nifty chest pocket. The hickory stripe is one of the iconic American workwear fabrics — if not the most. It was favoured by railroad workers and painters as the stripes would obscure stains. The catchy but odd name is believed to refer to the fabric's hard-wearing properties; because it is tough as hickory. While it is indeed tough, it is compared to denim that's flatter and lighter in weight due to the thinner yarn and flatter 2/1 construction. Therefore, it's perfect for workwear where comfort is important. We have developed this 8.5 oz. 2/1 Z hickory stripe denim by studying our favourite vintage examples. We found that the indigo stripe was often slightly wider than the white, which partly makes the garment look bluer from afar, but also creates a more pleasing balance between the stripes up close. As will all things indigo blue and denim this piece will age, and it will do so gloriously!

All our parcels are sent via DPD recorded services that are tracked and will require a signature on arrival. We will endeavour to process orders placed before 12pm for the same day dispatch. Many of our orders will arrive within 24 hours but depending on the time of your order and its destination in the UK it may take up to 5 days.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY.
The cost of postage will be dependent on the area we ship to, please check your cart for specific price. However most common destinations are as follows:
- Orders sent to EU countries will be sent in 4-7 days for £20.00 *
- Orders sent to the United States will be sent in 5-7 days for £35.00 *
All international orders are sent via Royal Mail, when your item has been despatched you will receive a tracking confirmation via email.

Tax and VAT
All prices on our site are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of European Union sales tax (VAT) where applicable.
For the Remaining Countries outside the EU we are not responsible for any taxes that you may incur. Please check your end before placing your order.
Any duties payable will be the sole responsibility of the customer and may need to be paid at the time of delivery.

RETURNS
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your online purchase and wish to return it please return to the address below.
You have 14 days from the date you received it to return. However, during the Christmas period we may extend our returns policy.
For a full refund, please make sure you return the item unworn and in its original packaging with all the labels intact and accompanied by your original web order receipt.
We are not able to refund until the goods are received back and inspected.
We will issue a full refund to the card used or payment method when placing the order. Please allow up to 10 days for a full refund from the date we receive the goods back (although it is normally processed within 3).
